The vision of the American Hellenic Congress is to unify the efforts of the Hellenic American community of Michigan to promote culture, values, ideals, and interests.

These efforts shall be achieved through a series of social, cultural, ethnic, educational, and scientific meetings and events as well as activities supporting Greece’s interests.

You are invited to learn more about us, our mission, events and to consider being a part of our historic organization.
What is Hel•len•ism?
originating from Έλλην (Éllēn, “a Greek”)
The emulation of ancient Greek culture, civilization, principles and ideals, including humanism, reason, the pursuit of knowledge, the arts, moderation and civic responsibility.

The predecessor of American Hellenic Congress was the Justice for Cyprus Committee which was established in 1964 after Turkey bombarded Cyprus.
